The B&B is located just an 11 minute train ride from London Bridge station.
The local SE region main line rail station Hither Green (zone 3) is only
3 minutes walk from the Bed and Breakfast. Oxford Street in central
London is only a 30 minute journey from the same local station. For
those arriving by air, Heathrow and Stansted airports are both approximately 90
minutes by public transport.
Gatwick airport is approximately 80 minutes by public transport.
If you are in London on business the home is also only 4 minutes ride from Lewisham
DLR station giving good access to Excel Centre in Docklands (35 minutes)
and the 02 Arena Greenwich (15 minutes). Going to an event at the 02 then we have
an associate double B&B only 5 minutes from the Arena.
As well as easy access to central London the home is only 15 minutes ride
from trendy Blackheath Village and historic Greenwich where you could enjoy
the "Millennium Experience" and the Royal Park. Both of these areas
have various markets, excellent pubs, restaurants and shops. The
Glades shopping centre in nearby Bromley is an excellent shopping centre -
located within easy reach of our home but with prices much more
realistic than in central London.
Your hosts can also possibly arrange pick-up or departure to and from local
stations.
